Two buses belonging to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) were destroyed in a fire at the Kushaiguda bus depot in Telangana’s Medchal-Malkajgiri district, according to officials.
Fortunately, no casualties have been reported, as confirmed by the fire department. Firefighters responded promptly to the scene and managed to bring the flames under control.
Authorities believe the fire started in one parked bus and quickly spread to a second one. Preliminary investigations point to engine overheating as the likely cause of the fire.
